CNY 2025 and EA GAmes

some updates.

1. i have been so busy i actually forgot to update in here so i will make it brief, i had interview with EA games, it was online, the lead is from shanghai and i messed up the interview because it was mostly in mandarin. but i was given an art test and i will do my best to complete and achieve it in anyway. currently done with the baking and just started with materials tonight.

2. i am done with PSM knife and submitted to them in winrar. it's all up to them now.

3. it's CNY 2025 and i am celebrating while doing this stupid test.

4. i was so busy with the test i forgot to actually update in here. anyway i never expected interview this month, maybe this will be the last interview for the month and not sure what happens from here forward. i might skip monday japanese class just to make sure i complete and deliver the stupid trunk.

some updates

1. so far no interviews this week and last week, still apply to jobs and guess what, alot of people in game development are still unemployed which not surprises me. I done 2 tests, i don't think i will do anymore test for this month.

2. the texture painting for the knife is almost done, now need to make some lighting changes and then compile the submission file again.

3. japanese exam is on march 2025.

4. need to remember to buy rechargeable batteries, more drinks and some more snacks for CNY.

January 2025

some updates.

1. astatica test is over for me, i submitted and am done. and you know something? i submitted using outllook and 他沒有receive到email, but when 使用gmail send email, wow they actually received it, bloody hell outlook.

2. applied to other positions in jobstreet and linkedin, i don't know what can happen this year. please don't ask me, maybe this year is just 2 interviews only haha

3. i plan to finish the PS knife at 20th this month and submit to PSM by 27th in case unifi have problem.

4. the exam is on march this year, i need to do crazy alot of revision and 1 month more revision just for myself.

after the interview

updates

1. astatica interview is over and task is over, i submitted yesterday evening and fully done with it, now is all up to them. then i had a last second interview with the makeoverguys, interview yesterday, i mistaken it for friday. thats 2 interviews for this year. to be frank i didn't expect anything this year.

2. i am going to focus on the station and playstation studios assignment for this month. i'm going to try finish the knife as mush as i can and detail as much as i can, then slowly shift my focus on the station. hopefully all doors will be finished this month, i am certain this year the UV's will have some more progress.

3. I will also be sending my certificates and transcripts to UOW KDU game development for checking this month. they will have my transcripts send over to the game development faculty for checking. i might possibly send them my old PJCAD transcripts as well to avoid their foundation year. hopefully can get as much credit transfer points as possible.

4. later i will need to do some shopping, buy milk, drinks and some kit-kat.

some updates

1. guess what, something unexpected happened and i did not anticipate it, i went back to sugar and I and i saw celine foh working behind the counter, i would have expected her to maybe graduate on keep going with her life. and dissappear like the girl in the SS15 shop but instead she turns up in front of me, probably because the manager requested for her. I only had casual conversation with her, found out she is still doing undergraduate in class and returned to classes by now. but I am glad i got to talk to her, because i am not sure how long it would be until i see her, hopefully i can still talk and meet because i was too concerned about asking for her number. i only see 3 options with celine, keep talking to her like always and building the relationship with her, encounter celine a few more times and finally ask for her number and ask her out or, find out she is in a relationship and get rejected.

2. got my reply from PSM, apparently i am allowed to present more of the knife render in unreal. accoding to bidin. the submission guideline is just some direction to follow. therefore i am allowed to add in 1 more rendered shot but this time i will add 1 more page instead of squeze into 1 page layout.

3. tomorrow is my interview with astatica at 12 pm, first interview of 2025. according to their message, i will need to do some test, hopefully i don't have to stay there the whole day.

it's first day of 2025 and here is some updates

1. so here is some strange updates, i send sashimi a message to wish her happy new year, i didn't expect a reply from her, i mean what was i expecting, a reply? i didn't have the right to have any reply. but in the end i got a response, it's also understandable, i don't private message anyone without permission. i am sorry sashimi, but i uploaded this picture because i feel maybe it might be one of our last ever conversation before i even get to be able to ask you to be your partner and fail at it. So i better enjoy this moment while i am doing it because i have absolutely no regrets doing this, maybe i am being silly, but i think it's all worth it. this is one of things to do before we part ways in the future, and maybe getting banned from your discord. heh

2. it's 2025 and i am not sure what will happen, but i can go with the flow, tomorrow i will continue working on PS knife but i will make slow progress with it.

3.  i have a feeling i am also understanding abit more about what i will need to do and the people i will meet in the future. there is this person called crystal lee on linkedin who apparently replies to my comments and seems easy going, i won't mention more than that.
