1. it's been confirmed that Felix Yang is going to take over as instructor from next tuesday onwards, and this friday he wants to just have introduction with everyone at 3 pm local time and 9 am Spain time. I will test export my blocking to 3ds max today while getting feedback and see if i can help blockout the main street.

2. Japanese class started last week, i will try and get my homework done tomorrow so that i can make it to class.

3. i will continue to apply to positions and hope i can get interview or freelance work.

some updates

1. Japanese conversations class has started and i already received my homework. hopefully i can get it finished either by this thursday or friday.

2. I was told the new lead environment artist is taking over, but it seems that the artist will only arrive after the blockout is approved. i am not going to share this with the group but i have applied to positions and i will go for interview if i am invited and will leave when i should because i sense that after all this is over i might not get anything at all. I will try and get my blocking all completed today.

3. I also am wondering what will happen in the future

1. this was not expected from javier, but plans have changed, the projects have no prop artist, instead groups from project green and ifaith are merged together to form a new group and new project called sands. the idea is everyone contributes to build a new environment. meanwhile the prop artist works on their solo work individually. to be frank i am not sure if i understand the situation, but good thing i have my own game i am still making.

2. Japanese conversation starts this week, i will probably pay for Unifi bill this week.

3. i still have no idea what is it in store for me this year, but i expect to get kicked out from this group and more surprises to happen.

Progress

1. not really sure how to put this into context, javier saw the progress and mentioned something positive but i felt that he forced himself to put into words only, i'm not sure what happens next but i leave it to the class sessions and interactions between people. and because this is the first online class for game arts. This class has changed my sleeping schedule in some ways, i won't complain or try to avoid that change, in fact accept that change for now and see if there is a workaround or sollution. It has been 3 weeks now since the first class started for this first batch.

2. so i paid for my japanese conversation tuition fee and it will begin on the 26th this month.

3.  this week i am making time to really clean my toilet abit.

1. Got some feedback from Javier, and it wasn't very good feedback, he was actually feeking everyone of 6 people haha. but anyway i have to learn to work efficiently. feek, how on earth am i going to model a whole large building when blockout is not confirmed.

2. Kaigan Games asked me to deliver to model in fbx format and Mun How would like to arrange for visiting the office next wednesday.

Kaigan Games Test

1. Onyx Academy Project Green environments has some serious issues, so i didn't do much blocking, i hope all those issues will be resolved soon.

2. Decided to focus on Kaigan Game Modeling test this week and not to be concern with anything else.
progress is really slow and shitty, i rework textures over many times now, i'm just wondering if i can even get anything done by this wednesday, my own deadline. i expect to fail the test really bad

1. regarding the kaigan games test, i completed the entire model, despite the part that it is lacking alot of details and decided i will move on to textures for concern i won't be able to complete the textures by wednesday(my own deadline), then finalize on thursday before responding to them on thursday. all UV's are completed and finalized and ready for texturing, the only last thing was to add a fire particle in the engine.

2. received some building blockout from micheal in the team but seems to either be my side that have errors or micheals side. either way i will check with the rest tomorrow, i decided to block out my part of the building and kept the whole building simple in case there are change of plans again. therefore there are not many changes to make. I am not sure why but even if this is online class and training, i suddenly somtimes feel that i either don't want to attend or want to stop halfway, i will decide on this later. but in case i get terminated from the course good thing i still have the station as some emergency.

3. i finally decided to submit my application to that company, don't ask me why, but as some backup choice.

End of First Week at Onyx

1. okay its the end of the first week in the first month, i have my assigned team, assign course and assigned role. in this course i only work in UE, Plastic SCM and project management at moment.

2. still doing my test from kaigain games, decided to i will complete the blocking late tomorrow and then finalize the whole shape with some chamfers then go straight to UV's before throwing into the engine.

3. what will happen months later i really don't know.

Onyx Academy day 03

some updates

1. blogging abit more because i don't need to be somewhere for learning, but i got no excuse to attend online class unless i got emergency or i need to go somewhere. i need to figure out a way to keep some files for myself in case i am terminated from the onyx academy, someone also quit the academy already, so i am not surprised in fact i am happy for them

2. i saw position for 3d animation for game company am thinking of applying for it.

3. still thinking if i can make time for japanese conversations.

Onyx Academy

1. started the first class with Onyx Academy yesterday, first day was introduction getting to know team members, setting into teams and then gather ideas and references. installed Plastic SCM and some other team collaborations stuffs.

2. I decided to do some house cleaning just for morning until afternoon when i have extra time, then shop when i need to, i will also decide by this wednesday if i can make it to Japanese conversation.

3. I might be able to keep sometime for The Station as alternative in case i get terminated by Javier Benitez.
